Students from JK to Grade 8 learn a new language or experience the culture and traditions of their heritage language. IILE is essential to support multiculturalism and diverse families in our communities. Thank you to our instructors and staff for your continued dedication and professionalism to students and families of the IILE program.”

Therese NicolasThis week we are also celebrating Therese Nicholas, a teacher at Father F.X. O’Reilly Catholic School. Therese was nominated by a colleague who said:

“Mrs. Nicholas is an essential leader and inspiration to the prep team and FFX school community. She is a kind, caring teacher and colleague committed to her vocation and students. Mrs. Nicholas is a strong advocate for the arts and is always finding ways to include and showcase diverse student talents. We thank Mrs. Nicholas for always bringing fun and joy to our school environment and classrooms!”

This week we are also celebrating Rosmarie White, a Rosmarie White teacher at St. Marie of the Incarnation Catholic School. Rosmarie was nominated by a colleague who said:

“When one thinks of Mrs. White they think of strength. She has gone through so much yet continues to shine, in and out of school. If one were to tell her they or someone else is not doing well, Mrs. White would drop her many other tasks to then help those in need. Her students adore her and the staff love her. When you hear her yelling down the halls in the morning you will see students and teachers with smiles on their faces. Everyone is thankful for Mrs. White and all that she does.”

We would like to thank everyone for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
