Every week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.
This week we are celebrating Christine Bonsi and Rose
Fusaro, office administrators at Father F.X. O’Reilly Catholic School. Christine and Rose were nominated by a colleague, who said:
“Christine and Rose are the face of our school. They constantly treat staff, students, and parents with kindness and compassion. Christine and Rose do more than is required for our school community. They know our student's needs and take the time to talk with them with kind eyes. Christine and Rose are two people who truly exhibit what it means to be a Catholic servant in our school board ”
This week we are also celebrating Siobhan McKee, the principal at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School. Siobhan was nominated by a colleague, who said:
“Siobhan is an outstanding principal. She is incredibly supportive to her staff, especially when students are struggling in the classroom with self-regulation. Siobhan is extremely patient with these students, taking the time to work with each one, individually, to help them develop the awareness and skills to learn to better manage their emotions and behaviour. Siobhan is a wonderful role model who inspires me to be a better teacher.”
We would like to thank Christine, Rose, and Siobhan for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
