Celebrating Catholic Education Week

Celebrating Catholic Education Week
Posted on 04/29/2016
During the week of May 1-6, 2016 the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (SMCDSB) will celebrate Catholic Education Week. It is an opportunity for students, staff and members of the community to recognize and appreciate the value and gift of Catholic education. The theme for this year's Catholic Education Week is Opening Doors of Mercy. This week is made special by all of the activities and celebrations taking place in schools throughout our board.

All Catholic high schools will participate in a province-wide Mass on the morning of Tuesday, May 3. At St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School in Barrie, His Eminence Cardinal Thomas Collins will lead Mass on the school's football field.

The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board will recognize the different staff groups that make our faith-filled education so rewarding. Please help us to thank these groups during the week, for all of their contributions during the school year.
