The snow has started to fall, which means it's time to pull out the art supplies and get to work on our Board's 2021 Christmas Card! It has been a long standing tradition to use student artwork for our official board Christmas card, which we send out to our various stakeholders. The Christmas card goes out to colleagues and partners in Catholic education and public education across the province. It also goes to politicians, including the Premier and Prime Minister.

The board Christmas card artwork contest is open to all students of SMCDSB in Grades JK-12. All submitted artwork can be done in any medium, should reflect the true meaning and spirit of Christmas and include a faith component. 

Participants may submit their physical artwork via Board courier or in-person at the Catholic Education Centre. Please send care of the Communications Department and remember to clearly label all artwork with the students name, grade and school. 

Artwork may also be submitted electronically using the 2021 Christmas Card Artwork Google Form (a Google account is required) or emailed to [email protected]. Just remember - the artwork will need to be submitted in a high resolution format for us to reproduce into a digital card.

We would like all artwork to be submitted no later than Thursday, December 2nd.
