COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Funding

Infrastructure Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Education have provided $10 million in funding to support a variety of projects in SMCDSB schools through the COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream – Education Related Projects (CVRIS-EDU) as part of Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP).

In the SMCDSB the following projects were funded by the Governments of Canada and Ontario:

  • ventilation improvement
  • replacement of portables
  •  replacement of unit ventilators (HVAC) in portables
  •  installation of bottle filling stations
