Student VolunteersStudents at Saint Gabriel the Archangel Catholic School in Barrie are in the Christmas Cheer spirit.

Every year during Advent, students collect and donates food and toys to Christmas Cheer. The school calls it the Kids Helping Kids Christmas Campaign because the students understand that almost half of the people who use food banks on a daily basis are kids.

This year, the school was also able to donate more than $1,000 from selling popcorn and homemade Christmas cards along with other cash donations. The students should be proud of their efforts and for giving hope to many families this Christmas.
