Raising Awareness and Money for Childhood Cancer
Posted on 03/02/2016
On Friday, March 4, 2016, St. John Paul II C.S., St. Peter's C.S.S, and SEEDS Daycare, in Barrie, will be participating in Fairy Tale Friday. It is a day organized by the social justice teams at St. John Paull II and St. Peter's, dedicated to childhood cancer awareness and fundraising.

St. John Paul II is raising money for a family at the school who's child, Lillian, is battling leukemia; as well as other families across North America who have children fighting cancer.

Students can dress up in a fairy tale costume for any donation. For $5.00 students will receive a Tyler Robinson Foundation wristband and a Love for Lillian wristband. If students raise $20.00 they will get their photo taken by a photographer against a special fairy tale backdrop.

A liturgy will be held at St. John Paul II for Lillian, Tyler and all the families affected by cancer. St. Peter's is raising money through their dress down days and SEEDS daycare is participating in the fairy tale dress up.
