MARCH 21, 2016 - BARRIE, ON:  The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (SMCDSB) is excited to announce the launch of 42 new elementary school websites, along with the Catholic School Athletics of Simcoe County website. The new designs are clean and simple and feature a responsive design allowing users to easily view from any mobile device.

This launch is the second phase in an entire web strategy for the SMCDSB, with the board website being redesigned earlier this year. The board's nine high schools will also be redesigned in the coming weeks.

These new websites integrate with Google Apps for Education, which the board began using as its technology platform in September 2015. Some of the new features include an option for a mobile app, emergency notifications, new translation options, sync with Google Calendar and the ability to push board stories to all school sites.
