Pink Shirt Day
Posted on 02/24/2016
Wednesday, February 24, 2016 is Pink Shirt Day. A day where we wear pink and stand up to bullying and spread kindness.

"Kindness is one size fits all" and we all have the capacity to be kind to one another. This anti-bullying movement is one that should be active year-round. There are always opportunities to be kind.

Schools at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board participate in Pink Shirt Day by sporting pink, ordering "Pink Day Kits" and holding anti-bullying assemblies. We encourage our students to be inclusive and kind - many of our schools participate in random acts of kindness throughout the year.

Pink Shirt Day is a great opportunity for everyone to stand up and say "No!" to bullying.
