Simcoe County Museum
Visit the Simcoe County Museum and take a step back in time. Explore the replica Wendat (Huron) longhouse, take a walk down Barrie’s main street at the turn of the 20th century, and see the the development of military items, technology, and business and industry artifacts from the 1890s to the 1970s.


The museum will also have an interactive science exhibition taking place where guests get quiz on weather science facts are true or false!

Ice Skating Trail - Arrowhead Provincial Park
1.3 KM ice skating trail winds through the Muskoka forest. The trail is open typically until the middle of March, so check with the park first before you head up! 

YMCA 

The YMCA of Simcoe Muskoka has locations all over Simcoe County and the District of Muskoka. They each offer fun family activites over the March break. Find your YMCA and see what activities are available to your family! 

Public Library
The library is a great place to discover a new book, and curl up and read! Some libraries even offer story time where the lovely library staff read picture books to young children. They even offer crafts, movie days and video game days. Check with your local library to see what they offer!
