Background

The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board has received funding approval to construct a new 493 pupil place elementary school, including a three-room child care centre, in Innisfil. The new school will be located SE of Killarney Beach Rd. and the 20th Sideroad on McMaster Avenue. Construction of the new facility commenced in the spring of 2023 and is anticipated to be complete this fall for an opening in September 2024. During this time, the Innisfil area has continued to grow in enrolment

A boundary review is necessary to establish a new boundary for the Innisfil Catholic Elementary School (name to be determined) and balance enrolment and capacities in the area.
