Celebrating Our School Leaders and Clergy

Catholic Education Week - Celebrating Our School Leaders and Clergy
Posted on 05/10/2018
This year’s theme for Catholic Education week is Renewing the Promise. We will be joining with every other Catholic school in every Catholic School Board in Ontario to remember our own individual and collective commitments to Catholic education.

Catholic Education Week is a wonderful opportunity to recognize how fortunate we are to share in the gift of Catholic education. It is also the perfect time to recognize everyone in our school communities who work together to share in the faith and learning journey of our students and staff.

Today, we would like to recognize our Principals and Vice Principals. We are thankful for the group of faith based leaders we have in our schools and serving centrally. We thank you for leading by example, for being the pastoral leaders of your school communities, for your unceasing efforts to attend to the spiritual and academic journeys of everyone entrusted to your care. The unwavering commitment of our Principals and Vice Principals to Catholic education in our board and throughout our province is uplifting and exhilarating.

We would also like to recognize officially and thank sincerely Bishop Kirkpatrick, Bishop Miehm, and all of our Clergy, Deacons, and Laity within our Parishes who lead, guide, and assist us in the work we do in Catholic education. The unwavering commitment of our clergy and our dioceses to Catholic education is uplifting and exhilarating. We thank you for helping us to live out our vision: nurturing faith, illuminating minds, inspiring hearts, ad empowering hands ~ we are working together to transform our world. God bless each of you for the work you do each and every day.

It is such an honour to work with you.
