2025-2026 Calendar Consultation

The proposed 2025-2026 calendar includes 194 possible school days between September 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026. The Education Act requires a minimum of 194 school days with a requirement of three mandatory Professional Activity (PA) days as well as four discretionary PA days for a total of seven PA days. 

Our Board's draft 2025-2026 calendar proposes the following:

  • First day of classes beginning after Labour Day  on September 2, 2025
  • Christmas Holidays from December 22, 2025 - January 2, 2026
  • March Break from March 16, 2026 - March 20, 2026
  • Last day of classes on June 25, 2026
  • Exam days from January 22 - 28, 2026 and June 19 - 25, 2026
  • Professional Activity (PA) days as follows:
