Are you interested in working in our Catholic schools? The Human Resources Department is currently recruiting individuals to work as supply staff in our 50 schools across Simcoe County, Muskoka and the District of Parry Sound.
Due to the fallout of COVID-19, our schools continue to deal with significant staffing shortages, and it is often difficult to sufficiently provide coverage for staff and supervision for our students.
We would like to put a call out to everyone in our Catholic communities to consider joining our supply lists. There are different types of supply staff, depending on qualifications:

Certified/Qualified Supply List (Occasional Teachers, Supply Educations Assistants, Designated Early Childhood Educators, Office and Clerical and Custodial)

Supplementary Supply List - Open to retired SMCDSB educators only

Emergency Supply List - Unqualified individuals who have an interest in supporting our schools. Unqualified staff are offered supply work when no qualified staff are available to accept daily supply positions and may work at any SMCDSB school location.

Occasional Student-Teachers with Temporary OCT certificates
