Celebrating StaffEvery week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.

This week we are celebrating Liz Masters, an EducationalLiz Masters Assistant at Holy Family Catholic School. Liz was nominated by a colleague, who said:

“What can be said about Liz? Not only is she a bubbly bright ray of sunshine, but she is always ready to help out. No matter what the task. Ms. Masters is clear, fair and somehow through it all keeps a smile on her face. Always ready to help create flashcards to add to student ever-growing language development. Ms. Masters also makes awesome cookies which she shares with staff. Honestly, some days knowing Ms. Masters cookies await you at the end of the day, makes the day fly by. The best quality by far, though, is her rapport with students. They love her.”

Every week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.

Andrea SturinoThis week we are also celebrating Andrea Sturino, a teacher at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School. Andrea was nominated by several parents, who said:

“She is a great teacher with a great heart, she helps shape little minds and teacher's like that are very difficult to find.”

“Mrs.sturino is an amazing teacher!”

“She made my daughter's first year of kindergarten fun and exciting, but also very educational. My daughter learned so much this year. Such an amazing teacher!”

“Thank you Mrs. Sturino for everything! You truly are a fantastic teacher! God bless!”

“She is an amazing teacher who makes students have fun in the classroom. She is organized, creative and so understanding.”
