Glenn Griffin is a Refrigeration Mechanic in Facilities Glenn Griffin Services. Glenn was nominated by a colleague, who said:

“We are lucky to have technicians such as Glenn helping maintain the HVAC systems in our schools and office buildings. His knowledge, professionalism and hard work is key to the success of our Mechanical and Controls department. He has been an HVAC technician with us now for almost 20 years and continues to take pride in the service he is able to provide for the students and staff of our school board. He's a pleasure to work with and a great member of our team at Facility Services.”

Ana LapaThis week we are also celebrating Ana Lapa, an Educational Assistant at St.Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Elementary School. Ana was nominated by a colleague, who said:

“She is excellent with working with the students and getting them motivated and eager to learn. She is compassionate and kind to every student who crosses her path - every child waves and says hello when she walks past them. She is always helping around the school with activities, events and with teachers. She is a hard worker and goes beyond her duties as an Educational Assistant.”

This week we are also celebrating Cheryl Panasiuk, Cheryl Panasiuk Maintenance Clerk at Facilities Services. Cheryl was nominated by a colleague, who said:

“At the centre of it all for the past 22 years at Facility Services is Cheryl Panasiuk. She keeps the engine running for the team by purchasing and organizing the parts and inventory, among other duties required for our technicians to be able to perform their work on a daily basis.

Cheryl continuously meets the challenging demands of her position with poise and professionalism. She always has a smile on her face and is a positive presence. She is a great leader and team member for us all at Facility Services.”

We would like to thank Glenn, Ana, and Cheryl for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
