Every week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.
This week we celebrate Frances Reid, a guidance
counsellor at St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School. Frances was nominated by a parent who said:
“There is not enough space given to describe how wonderful Ms. Reid is! Her dedication to her job is outstanding! She is truly there for the students! Ms. Reid has helped me greatly throughout the years! As this is our family’s last year at PET we couldn’t have done it without the support and guidance from Ms. Reid! You are the BEST, Ms. Reid.”
This week we are also celebrating Murray Watson, the Adult Faith Animator at the Catholic Education Centre. Murray was nominated by a colleague who said:
“Murray has always been available to assist anyone who needs it both inside the organization and out. He is always willing to lead or provide guidance in a manner that is so welcome and appreciated. His gentle demeanour is an example of what we strive for as a staff member of the Board. I truly enjoy working with him and listening to him speak. He is truly a blessing to our Board, the staff, and our community.”
We would like to thank Frances and Murray for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
