“I would like to thank all of the candidates for their unwavering commitment to education rooted in our Catholic faith,” said Frances Bagley, Director of Education. “The dedication and service that trustees bring to their role, helps all staff provide meaningful, faith-filled learning for our students.”
The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board would like to thank retiring trustees Joe Zerdin, Carol Corriveau-Truchon, Jeanny Salmon, Catherine McDonald, and Peter Fracassi for their years of service and to all candidates who campaigned to be stewards for Catholic education.
The trustees will serve a term of four years, beginning November 15, 2022. The Board Inaugural Meeting will take place on November 16, 2022. The newly developed Board of Trustees will also be joined by this year’s student trustees, Kate Sontag and Andrew Jones. The Board has a current enrollment of over 22,000 students in 42 elementary schools and 9 secondary schools.
