Each year, Catholic Education Week invites us to reflect on the profound gift of Catholic education in our lives and our community. This special week runs from May 4-9, and is an opportunity to celebrate our shared mission of nurturing faith, inspiring hope, and fostering a sense of belonging through the teachings of Jesus Christ.
This year’s theme, “Catholic Education: Pilgrims of Hope,” calls us to walk together in faith and reminds us to journey with compassion, care for creation, and build a future rooted in joy, trust, and unity. Please see His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo's Message for Catholic Education Week (PDF).
As we look ahead, we invite you to help shape our journey by sharing your thoughts on next year’s School Year Theme. Please complete the School Year Theme Survey to help guide our discussions—your voice matters!
ShareLife School Campaign
As part of our commitment to living out our mission, we are reminded of our important role in supporting our community through charity. ShareLife, the Archdiocese of Toronto’s umbrella organization for Catholic charities, provides vital funding to organizations that serve those in need. Last year, the ShareLife campaign raised nearly $14.5 million, and the need continues to grow. Learn more about these campaigns on the ShareLife website.
Our school board is proud to participate in this year’s ShareLife campaign. Last year, thanks to the generosity of all our schools and board office sites, we raised over $8,600. In this Jubilee Year of Hope, your support offers much-needed hope to those struggling in our communities.
We invite families to participate in this year’s campaign, which will take place in our schools from Monday, May 5, to Friday, May 16. Donations can be made through the SchoolDay platform.
Your support and generosity are greatly appreciated.
