Get out your planners! The Ministry of Education has approved the elementary and secondary calendars for the 2026-2027 school year.

The calendar includes 194 possible school days between September 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027. The Education Act requires a minimum of 194 school days with a requirement of three mandatory Professional Activity (PA) days as well as four discretionary PA days for a total of seven PA days. 

Our Board's 2026-2027 calendars include the following:

• First day of classes beginning after Labour Day on Tuesday, September 8, 2026
• Christmas Holidays from December 21, 2026 - January 1, 2027
• March Break from March 15, 2027 - March 19, 2027
• Last day of classes on June 29, 2027
• Exam days from January 26 - February 1, 2027 and June 23 - 29, 2027
• Professional Activity (PA) days as follows:
