Once again this year, we are so pleased at the incredible amount of beautiful artwork we received from our schools and are certainly impressed with the level of talent our students have shown.
It was very difficult to narrow down the hundreds of submissions to the top ten, but we are very happy to announce this year's winner and nine honourable mentions:
This year’s winner is Maya Cavaco, a Grade 11 student from St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School. Her submission featured a beautifully painted nativity scene in vibrant colours, with a Van Gogh-like style.

All of these submissions perfectly demonstrate the importance of faith and the spirit of Christmas in a variety of ways. Maya's artwork will be featured on the front of this year’s Board Christmas card and will be sent to colleagues and partners in Catholic and public education in Ontario, as well as our Premier and Prime Minister.
