Summer School 2-Week Day Camps for students in Grade 6, 7 and 8 are back! There are a variety of different camps and programs this summer for students and families to take advantage of.

 

1. Literacy/Numeracy Summer School Intermediate Non-Credit Camp Program

The Literacy/Numeracy Summer School Intermediate Non-Credit Camp Program is an opportunity to increase literacy, numeracy, science, and/or technology skills in a fun and engaging class.  Check out one of our exciting programs this summer:

  • MTV (Mouse Trap, Vehicle Challenge)

  • Instrumental Music

  • Indigenous Rap History/Coding

  • Robotics/Coding

  • American Sign Language

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM)

  • STEAM Solar Ovens and Build a Bee House

2. Summer Reach Ahead Credit for Grade 8 Students

The Reach Ahead Credit is for Grade 8 students who are entering Grade 9 in September 2022. Students earn a high school credit before September! This course teaches students tools & tips for high school. Learn how to relate to others, manage resources, become responsible members of society, and develop interpersonal and practical skills related to daily life.

3. Newcomer Welcome to Canada Camp   

This program is brand new this summer for students in Grades 5-12 and their parents. Are you a newcomer family to Canada? Students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend our Welcome to Canada Summer Camp! We will be planning classes and events that help newcomers to learn about life in Canada.
