If you’ve ever wondered what pure grit and determination look like, you don’t have to look any further than St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School student Rebecca Mideros. At just 16 years of age, Rebecca has turned a challenge into triumph after losing her leg in a boating accident when she was just four years old. Tune in to the popular TVO Kids television show “All Round Champion,” premiering Wednesday, January 5 at 5 p.m., and keep watching every week to see Rebecca in action.
The show features ten elite athletes from North America competing in the ultimate sports competition. The catch? They don’t compete in their own sports; they compete in each other’s! Each week one of the athletes gets to showcase and coach their sport to their fellow competitors. The athlete earning the most points is crowned All-Round Champion.
