On March 23rd, students gathered at Collingwood’s Jean Vanier Catholic High School to celebrate their annual spring semi formal.

Dressed in summery dresses (despite the freezing weather) and suited up in their very best, over one hundred Jean Vanier students, and their dates, made their way to the school for their final dance of the year.

This spring’s semi formal was extra special, as the school won a light show, DJ, and photo booth through a food drive competition earlier in the year with Barrie's 93.1 Fresh Radio.

Although the dance acted primarily as a prom fundraiser; cinnamon buns were also sold during the dance, in an effort to raise money for Mama Zipporah’s Huruma Children’s Home.
