Prom Blitz Offers Free Prom Dresses to Students in Need
Posted on 03/06/2017

Prom is one of the most exciting and gratifying events in a teenager’s life. After four years of high school, students can finally celebrate all that they have accomplished with their friends. For some, getting a prom dress is the best and most exciting part, but for others, it can cause financial anxiety.

Prom Blitz is a non-profit organization that believes that all students should be able to attend prom. Since 2005, Prom Blitz has been providing free prom dresses to Grade 12 graduates who cannot otherwise afford them. Since opening, they’ve helped over 1,000 girls attend prom by providing dresses, jewelry and accessories.

The 2017 Dress Drive and Dress Giveaways is now on! Grade 12 girls can make an appointment at www.promblitz.com and visit the Kozlov Centre in Barrie on one of four boutique days during the March Break to pick out their dress.
