The Community Use of Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board schools accepts permit requests on a phased in basis, as per our current Community Use of Schools Procedural Guidelines.

We anticipate receiving multiple requests for facility use and ask for your patience as we coordinate dates and times. Please be aware that alternate locations may be suggested as we endeavor to accommodate as many requests as possible.

Be sure to read the updated Procedures and Guidelines for Community Use of Schools before proceeding.

Please note, there may be added requirements for groups to confirm their Not-for-Profit status before permit requests can be processed. 

We ask for your patience and continued understanding as the SMCDSB works to ensure it has appropriate resources and procedures in place to support community use of our schools. 

The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board acknowledges that educational facilities are an integral part of the community and they add to the spiritual, educational, recreational and social development of all who share them.  It is the intent of the Board to have its facilities used in the best interests of the community, when they are not required for school use.

The Board will not make its facilities available to any organization whose values are in conflict with Catholic values.  Similarly, the community use of our schools shall be consistent with Catholic values.
