Within our Catholic schools, we teach our students to live Jesus’ story everyday though our actions and the choices we make. We encourage a positive and caring attitude towards others. During the Christmas season, giving is a great way to share these values within our schools and our communities.

Holy Cross Catholic School in Innisfil recently participated in the 12 days of Christmas. Each day, the school community brought in a different non-perishable food item to help support the local community.

On the 1st day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 370 cans of Fruits or Veggies!

On the 2nd day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 419 cans of Meats or Fish!

On the 3rd day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 493 cans of Chunky Soups or Stews!

On the 4th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 531 boxes of Cereal!

On the 5th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 484 packs of COOKIES!

On the 6th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 353 packages of Dry Pasta!

On the 7th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 407 jars of Pasta Sauce!

On the 8th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 267 packages of Muffin/Cake Mixes!

On the 9th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 332 packages of Jello or Puddings!

On the 10th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 273 cans of Spaghetti!

On the 11th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 597 Soups!

On the 12th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 496 boxes of Kraft Dinner!


By the final day, the school had collected over 5000 non-perishable food items!
