It’s no secret that our students are full of talent, and Izzy Cavaliere from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School in Innisfil is no exception. Twelve year-old Izzy has been dancing, singing and playing guitar since she was six years old and this year she will get to showcase her talents to all of Canada. Out of 600 people who auditioned, Izzy has been selected as the youngest member of the best selling kids group, Mini Pop Kids.
Mini Pop Kids (MPK) creates family friendly versions of today’s pop hits for kids and can be found in classrooms and dance studios across Canada. On November 24, 2017 their new album, Mini Pop Kids 15 will be released and their Canadian tour kicks off in Guelph, Ontario on December 16, 2017.
Izzy is an active member in the St. Francis of Assisi music club and choir and loves doing the morning announcements. She plans on staying with MPK for as long as possible and then wants to pursue her own music. She is already well on her way - writing and composing her own songs.
