Last month, 50 students from St. Peter's Catholic Secondary School, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School and Holy Trinity Catholic High School travelled to Québec to experience Carnaval de Québec.
Accompanied by their French teachers, the students were immersed in the rich French culture, and over four days, were able to experience some of the great things Québec has to offer.
They ate traditional French cuisine, met with Bonhomme Carnaval, visited various local historical sites and even danced and played the spoons with the locals. Throughout the trip, students were able to practice their new language skills by ordering their food in French and purchasing souvenirs in the local shops.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff for organizing such an incredible experience for our students.
